Create Enhanced Metafile

You can save individual parts or entire drawings as EMF (Enhanced Meta Files). However, the parts must not be shaded.

To save a part as an EMF file, proceed as follows:

  1. On the Drawing tab, select Save/Print > SaveAs .
  2. Select Conversion .
  3. Select Create Enhanced Metafile (EMF) .
  4. Identify the object that you want to save as an EMF file or use the right mouse button to activate the Extended Selection function and specify the object there.
  5. Finally, define the storage location and the name of the file.

To save the drawing as an EMF file, use the key combination CTRL+C.
