3-D DXF/DWG

3-D DXF/DWG import

Drawing > New/Open > Open > STEP, IGES, ....

3D DXF/DWG files are opened with STEP, Iges . . .function. In the following dialogue window you should select the file type AutoCAD (*.dxf, dwg. In the dialogue window shown afterwards, you have to select the file type from the PullDown on the right hand side. The representation is then clearer since only according AutoCAD files are displayed in the file area of the selection dialogue.

Please note:

• 3D DXF/DWG import is supported from all versions up to AutoCAD 2013.

• Please take the settings for interfaces in the Configuration Management into consideration.

3D DXF/ DWG exportieren

Drawing > Save/Print... > Save as > 3D formats (STEP, ...)

3D DXF/DWG files are saved with 3D Formate (STEP, ...).  In the following dialogue window you should select one of the file types AutoCAD (*.dxf, dwg.

Hinweise:

• Saving the drawing as a 3D DXF approximation with the 3D-DXF (Approx.) function (via Drawing > Save/Print... > Save as > Further... > 3D-DXF (Approx.) only outputs a faceted representation, not a complete geometry file! If an approximative 3D DXF file is saved, it is automatically written to \Szenen\-directory of HiCAD installation.
• Please take the settings for interfaces in the Configuration Management into consideration.
