Auxiliary Objects in the ICN

HiCAD also manages objects without part character, e.g. auxiliary lines, DIN frames etc. These parts are normally not displayed in the structural display of the Information + Communication Navigator.

To display these objects in the structural display of the ICN, proceed as follows:

1. In the 2D Part structure tab of the ICN, right-click the drawing name.
2. In the context menu, select Visualisation, Auxiliary Part On/Off.
3. Switch the display ON.

This setting applies temporarily to the current HiCAD session. To switch off the display of the auxiliary parts, set the setting to OFF.

Notes

• To change the setting permanently, open the Configuration Editor (ISDConfigEditor.exe), activate the checkbox at ... > System settings > Miscellaneous > Show auxiliary parts in browser (Default setting: Checkbox deactivated).

• Auxiliary constructions can be processed, in principle, like normal parts: in other words, for processing, place the mouse pointer on the desired object and use the right mouse button to activate the corresponding context menu.
