Project: HiCAD Plant Engineering

Starting the Plant Engineering Module

You have the following options to start the HiCAD Plant Engineering module:

• Call via Start Centre
  To assist you in your initial steps, the Start Centre is displayed when you first start HiCAD. If you want to start Plant Engineering directly via the Start Centre, select the start mode, 3-D Plant Engineering.
  

When you exit the Start Centre, HiCAD displays the Plant Engineering tab.

• Call via the Ribbon
  Another option to start Plant Engineering is the manual activation of the Plant Engineering tab on the HiCAD Ribbon. 
• Direct call via drawing
  If you are currently working with a Plant Engineering drawing, you can activate the module by clicking a Plant Engineering part in the drawing.

If the Plant Engineering tab is not shown, select Settings > Ribbon categories. In the dialogue window, activate the Plant Engineering checkbox and, if required, the Isometry checkbox.
