The following description refers to isometries and pipe spool drawings.

This tab enables you to set various parameters to optimise the positioning of text objects.

If positioning optimisation is active, HiCAD attempts, as far as possible, to position text objects so that they do not overlap.

When generating the isometry, the pipeline will be inserted in the drawing frame automatically; occasionally, however, the algorithm used may not deliver a "perfect" result. In such cases it makes sense to specify the scaling correction factor. The Scaling correction specification in percent scales the isometry in x- and y-direction simultaneously; this means that a value of 50% creates an isometry covering only 25% of the originally occupied area.

If you select Default, pre-defined values are assigned to the Optimise positioning tab.
