Insert Main Part via Database (PDM in HiCAD)

Drawing > Insert Part

Use this function to insert an article via the database into your drawing. The corresponding part can originate from another drawing or can be saved as an independent main part. The Insert Part function group on the Drawing tab offers the following options:

	Insert part, via article master
	Insert part, via document master
	Clicking beneath Exp. opens a pull-down menu with further functions for the insertion of parts from other drawings.
	From drawing - Parts, Via document master
	From drawing - Parts, Via article master

If you select one of these functions, the related search mask will be displayed. Select a document or article and activate OK. Specify a fitting point to place the part in your drawing.
