Projects: Document and Article Assignment

Documents or articles can be assigned to projects with Drag & Drop. A document or article can be assigned to several projects. The graphic, however, exists only once.

Open the detail window of the project via

• Find > Simple search > Projects ,
• the project structure (double-click project),
• the Document assignment or Article assignment function in the context menu of the project.

Fix the detail window (click on pin symbol) and open the Document assignments tab or the Article assignments tab in the detail window.

As HELiOS Desktop supports windows-comprehensive working, you can, for instance, activate another project in the project structure. The document list will then show the assigned documents. These documents can be dragged into the detail window by Drag & Drop.

If the window has not been fixed with the pin, it will be adjusted to the currently selected project when the function is called again.

In the detaiI window (Document assignmentsor Article assignments tab) of the project you will find the Remove assignments to all projects function by right-clicking on an entry:

1. Select a document and open the context menu.
2. Select the Remove assignments to all projects function.
3. Confirm the query with Yes.

Only the assignment, not the document or the article will be deleted.
