Create Configuration of Vertical Ladder (3-D SE)

You can use the ISD Configuration Editor to create and manage individual, customer-specific configurations of vertical ladders. To start the Configuration Editor by executing the ISDConfigEditor.exe file in the HiCAD EXE directory.

The vertical ladder configuration can be accessed via Active Configuration > MODULE > STEELWORK > PRODUCTS > CatLadder.

ISD has predefined a configuration with the name Default. The individual areas General, Ladder stiles, etc. correspond to those of the s Vertical ladder dialogue window.

To create your own configuration, proceed as follows:

1. Click the Default entry.
2. In the menu bar, select Edit > Derive structure.

3. Enter the name of the new configuration, e.g. user1, by overwriting the Default entry.

Exit the window with OK. The new configuration will be displayed in the Editor.

4. You can now change the settings of the configuration by clicking the corresponding sub-folder. For example, if you want to change the building height, click Vertical ladder and enter the desired value in the Building_Height field.

If you want to use a different ladder stile, e.g. a self-created KRA file, click the Ladder stiles sub-folder and select the desired file.

Please note:

• You may require administrator rights to start the Configuration Editor.
• Changes to the configuration files should be applied with a maximum of care and only by experienced users or administrators! End users should exclusively use the Vertical ladder function in HiCAD to create and change configurations.
