P+ID > Symbol > Load symbol
As long as a symbol fitting point has not been specified, you can transform the symbol, i.e. rotate and – according to the type of symbol – set the reference point on another connection.
Before you specify the fitting point, you need to activate the appropriate context menu with the right mouse button.
Function |
Description |
|
---|---|---|
|
Rotate symbol |
The symbol on the cross-hairs is rotated by 90°. Press the right mouse button again to re-display the pop-up menu. Click the icon again to turn the symbol by a further 90° etc. The rotation functions for 180° and 270° can be handled in the same way. |
|
Reference point on other connection |
The reference point is set on the connecting point with the next highest number. If you press the right mouse button again the reference point is moved directly to the next highest connecting point, i.e. a pop-up menu is not displayed. |
|
Scale symbol ... + |
Scales the symbol, whereby the scale factor(s) are increased by the current increment. The factors have initially the pre-set value 1.0. The increment normally has a value of 1.0. |
|
Scale symbol ... - |
Scales the symbol, whereby the scale factor(s) are de-creased by the current increment. The factors have initially the pre-set value 1.0. The increment normally has a value of 1.0. |
|
Sketch, all directions |
You can move the cross-hairs in any direction – this corresponds to the default HiCAD setting. The reference point is the origin of the coordinate system. |
|
Sketch, only X or Y |
The cross-hairs can only be moved from the reference point in the x or y direction. The reference point is the lower connecting point of the vessel symbol. |
|
Without sketch |
No coordinates are shown. |
|
Change reference point for sketch |
Initially the coordinates shown always refer to the origin of the coordinate system. This option enables you to assign a different reference point for the current symbol. If you select one of the first three options, it remains valid until you select another option or end the current HiCAD session. |
