Dimensioning the Blank (3-D SM)

This function enables you to choose the reference point for the dimensioning of the blank in x- and y-direction.

You can choose the reference point, as follows:

• to the left of the blank,
• on the centre line,
• to the right of the blank or
• by graphically determining an independent point.

This defines the smallest unit to be dimensioned. The default setting is 0.1.

The direction of the dimension lines is defined here. The default setting is the sheet direction.

This function enables you to specify the dimensioning type for linear dimensions in x-direction and y-direction.

Here, you can define

• the minimum distance of the dimension chain from the blank,
• the minimum distance of the dimension lines from one another or
• the shortening of the projection lines.

Here, you can specify the sides on which you want the dimensionings in x-/ y-direction to be inserted.

This function enables you to suppress the display of the overall dimensions in x-/ y-direction.

You can switch angular dimensioning on or off.

This function enables you to specify the position of the dimension arrows for radius dimensions. Furthermore, you can deactivate circular dimensioning.

You can define here whether you want all points to be dimensioned or only those on the preference side.

If an edge consists of several pieces, you can dimension the pieces individually.

You use this function to set the dimensioning for points on tangential transitions.

This function enables you to suppress the dimensioning of chamfers and countersinks on sheets or to specify a limit value for the dimensioning.

You use this function to deactivate the dimensioning of internal contours (e.g. bores).

You can specify the dimensionings of bend lines and bend zones here.

You can make default settings for the bend lines in the system file AUBEMPAR.DAT (bottom section).
