Sheet Metal > Sheet development > Update > Dimension
This function enables you to dimension the blank (development). It also allows you to make subsequent changes to the dimensioning.
The dimensioning is generated.
The following is a list of the dimensioning parameters:
Dimension reference point |
This function enables you to choose the reference point for the dimensioning of the blank in x- and y-direction. You can choose the reference point, as follows:
|
Dimension tolerance |
This defines the smallest unit to be dimensioned. The default setting is 0.1. |
Rotation angle |
The direction of the dimension lines is defined here. The default setting is the sheet direction. |
Linear dimensions: Type |
This function enables you to specify the dimensioning type for linear dimensions in x-direction and y-direction. |
Linear dimensions: Position |
Here, you can define
|
Linear dimensions: Preference side |
Here, you can specify the sides on which you want the dimensionings in x-/ y-direction to be inserted. |
Linear dimensions: Overall dimensions |
This function enables you to suppress the display of the overall dimensions in x-/ y-direction. |
Angular dimensions |
You can switch angular dimensioning on or off. |
Fillet dimensions |
This function enables you to specify the position of the dimension arrows for radius dimensions. Furthermore, you can deactivate circular dimensioning. |
Double dimension points |
You can define here whether you want all points to be dimensioned or only those on the preference side. |
Points on a straight line |
If an edge consists of several pieces, you can dimension the pieces individually. |
Tangential transitions |
You use this function to set the dimensioning for points on tangential transitions. |
Chamfers and countersinks |
This function enables you to suppress the dimensioning of chamfers and countersinks on sheets or to specify a limit value for the dimensioning. |
Internal contour |
You use this function to deactivate the dimensioning of internal contours (e.g. bores). |
Bend lines |
You can specify the dimensionings of bend lines and bend zones here. You can make default settings for the bend lines in the system file AUBEMPAR.DAT (bottom section). |
