Move/Dock toolbars

 

Move freely

  1. Move the cursor on the desired toolbar.
  2. Press and hold down the LMB and drag the toolbar to the new position.

 

Dock toolbars

Toolbars can be docked at the left, right, top and bottom of the HiCAD user interface, as well as below the Ribbon. The title of the toolbar will be hidden.

  1. Move the cursor on the toolbar you want to dock.
  2. Press and hold down the LMB and drag the toolbar to the desired position at the edge of the HiCAD screen. If you place a toolbar exactly at the top or bottom of the screen, it will be arranged horizontally. If you place it on the right or left hand side of the screen, it will be arranged vertically.

Change size of toolbars

 

You can use the mouse to change the size of a toolbar. Move the cursor on the edge of the toolbar. If the or symbols appear, simply drag the edge of the toolbar to the left, right, top, or bottom.


Reduce/Expand toolbars

Hide/Show toolbar

If you want to temporarily hide the buttons of a toolbar, click on the symbol at the head of the bar. You can then deactivate the required buttons in the context menu. In the same way, you can redisplay the buttons by activating them again.

 

Delete buttons

To delete buttons of a toolbar, select Settings > Toolbars. When the Customise dialogue window is displayed and the appropriate toolbar is visible, right-click the button you want to delete and select Delete in the context menu.

 

Add buttons

If you want to add further buttons to a toolbar, you also select Settings > Toolbars. If the Customise dialogue window is displayed and the appropriate toolbar is visible, press and hold down the CTRL key and drag the desired additional buttons from existing (visible) toolbars to into the required toolbar, as you would do for the creation of a new toolbar.
