Copy Guideline (PE)

Plant Engineering > Guideline Tools> Guide. > Copy

Use this function to copy guidelines. The copy can then be assigned to any pipeline. Parts can already have been placed on the guideline. The copy will look like the original guideline after deletion of the parts on it.

Proceed as follows:

• Select the guideline to be copied. The selection can either be made in the ICN or in the drawing. If parts have been placed on the desired guideline, identify one of the parts.
• Select the target pipeline, i.e. the pipeline to which you want to assign the copy of the guideline. Again, the selection can either be made in the ICN or in the drawing. The selection of any part of the guideline will be sufficient.
• The selected guideline will now be displayed as large as possible. Now, specify a reference point on the guideline, and then, specify its position in the drawing.
