Pre-Settings in System Files (PE)
Various Plant Engineering Settings may as well be determined via system files:
- ANBTLKEN.DAT
This file defines usable components and their associated part type ID (code). The name of respective mask files, to which the part type is linked, follows the code. Mask files define mask structure and offer special part type attributes for viewing or processing. The Mask Editor is used to define masks. Please do not change any existing entries in the ANBTLKEN.DAT, you can however add part type definitions. If you enhance the file, the appropriate Plant Engineering part classes can be automatically generated in the data-base. You simply need to start the Helios2toHeliosNext.exe (in the \HiCAD\EXE directory) program.
- Expert mode -> Plant Engineering
- Plant Engineering classes from file
- Select ANBTLKEN.DAT from HiCAD SYS
- ANL3DATT.DAT
This file contains given attribute names required for HiCAD 3-D Plant Engineering. Each attribute comprises two lines. The first line contains the attribute number followed by an identification number for the attribute type (R = Real-Figure, S = String) and the attribute designation. These designations are used in the Pre-selection mask. The second line contains the attribute name, used in the database.
- ANL3DPAR.DAT
This file contains the default settings contained in the Settings dialogue box called when you select the Default settings button. In the fourth line you can specify whether these default setting should be automatically activated (= 1) or not (= 0) each time you start HiCAD.
The last line in the file determines the attributes that should appear in the Pre-selection mask. This mask contains the associated attribute numbers (in accordance with the ANL3DATT.DAT file). Please remember that the first three attributes must be Text attributes, while the next two are for decimal number attributes. The last attribute is a is a special text attribute with the optional entries 1 – yes or 0 – no.
The above files are stored in the HiCAD SYS directory.
