This function enables you to change the parameters of a central projection
individually.
Function |
Description |

Viewer walks around the object
or
|
Point on horizon |
Viewer inclines his head to the side The horizon is rotated while the spatial centre and viewpoint remain fixed. |
Viewer distance |
Viewer goes forward/steps back The viewer is moved while the spatial centre and aperture angle remain fixed. |
Angle of vision |
Viewer widens/narrows his gaze The image detail is enlarged while the distance between viewpoint and spatial centre remains fixed. |

Viewer steps aside, with fixed gaze The viewpoint and the spatial centre are moved in parallel. |
Overview |
Overview of the data of the current central projection. |
Views > Projections > Standard AXO > Spatial centre
You use this function to change the spatial centre. By default, this is the point (0,0,0), in relation to the world coordinate system.
For the current view, the spatial centre is the rotation centre when rotating about the world or image axes. It is also used as the midpoint of the image plane in central projection, enabling both settings to influence each other.
