3-D FFS > Transform > Move
Use this function to transform surfaces. The functions correspond to the same-named Transformfunctions of the 3-D Standard tab.

|
Move surface, Constant surface, Via two 3-D points |
Enables the moving of a surface by specifying the start and end point of the displacement. |
Clicking opens the Move pull-down menu with the following functions: | ||
|
2 Points |
As above, but, in addition, the length of the displacement vector can be specified. |
|
Edge direction |
Identification of an edge that exists in the drawing. The direction of the displacement vector is determined by the position of the identification point. If the identification point lies to the left of the midpoint of the edge, the vector has a positive direction; if not, it is negative. |
|
Point -> Edge |
Perpendicular from a point to be specified to an edge to be identified. |
|
Point -> Surface |
Perpendicular from a point to a surface or its enlargement. |
|
Perpendicular to surface |
A surface normal. You can specify the surface by:
The vector start lies in the edge end that is closer to the 1st identification point. The vector stands perpendicular on the selected surface. |
|
in dimension direction |
Identification of a dimensioning. The vector lies on the dimension line. |
|
2 points (2-D) |
Specification of two 2-D points. |
|
2 lines (2-D) |
Identification of two parallel 2-D graphic elements. The perpendicular (in 2-D) is dropped from the first line to the middle of the second line. |
|
Last value |
Copies the last displacement applied to a surface to a selected surface. |
