Fillet + Chamfer (2-D)

2-D Geometry > Fillet

2-D Geometry > Chamfer

The following functions enable you to fillet or chamfer two lines at their common intersection point. The lines can belong to different parts. You can use only the Fillet polyline function to process different line types.

These two functions enable you to identify the corner to be filleted after entering the radius. Depending on which function you choose, you identify the corner via 2 graphic elements or with the cursor at the internal side.

You use this function to fillet the corners of a polyline. The elements here can consist of different line types.

These functions use a distance to be specified to create a 45° chamfer. Depending on which function you choose, you can now select 2 graphical elements for the corner after entering the length of the chamfer or identify the corner at the internal side with the cursor.

This function enables you to create a chamfer with any angle and any chamfer length.

  1. Specify the chamfer length and the chamfer angle.

If you have chosen the Chamfer, Length + Angle, 2 GE function, you can also select the corner via 2 graphical elements.

  1. Identify the corners to be chamfered.

The identification point defines the position of the chamfer. The length is marked off first, then the angle.

In this function, you define a chamfer by specifying the chamfer length on the two sides.

  1. Specify the chamfer lengths.
  2. Then identify the corners to be chamfered from the internal side.
