2-D Part > Referencing
You can use referencing to manage reused parts (identical parts). Referenced parts are changed across drawings and automatically identified during saving. You construct a part (e.g. a wheel) only once, and referencing enables you to use it again and again. If you change one of the identical parts, the others can be updated.
You can create referenced parts
You use the Clone function group to copy the internal parts. The clones and the original are referred to as a group.

Delete (active part + identical parts) This function deletes the internal group, i.e. the active part and all identical parts. |

Once you have defined the external part, you need to save it. The elements of the part are not automatically transferred when you save the drawing.
