Create assignments
Assign document: Assigns an existing document to the Folder.
Assign part: This function works in the same way as the Assign document function.
Assign folder: Opens the search mask for Folders, enabling you to assign a "sub-folder" to it.
Please note:
You can also assign a document, part or a sub-folder to the Folder by right-clicking on empty space in a folder search result list and selecting Enter document, Enter part, or Enter folder. The object will then be assigned to the active folder during its creation.
Assign preselected object to folder
Enables you to assign an object that had previously been copied to the clipboard (with the Preselect ... option) to the Folder.
Copy project contents to folder
Use this function to assign the complete content of a particular project to a Folder. After selecting the function, the project search dialogue window opens. Mark the desired project in the search result list and click Apply.
Remove assignment to folder
If a Folder had been assigned (as a sub-folder) to another Folder, use this function to remove this assignment. The Folder will then be moved to the uppermost level in the Folder Explorer.
Remove assignment to project
If the Folder is located in the object result list of an (active) project, you can use this function to remove this assignment. In other context menus (e.g. in the Folder Explorer) this option will not be visible.
Remove assignment to all folders
Removes all assignments of the Folder to other Folders with one mouse click (in contrast to the Remove assignment to folder function, which only removes the assignment to the currently superordinate Folder in the project tree).
Remove assignment to all projects
Removes all assignments to Projects.
