In the General area of the context menu for Folders, as well as on the General tab of the Ribbon, you will find the following function:

Activate folder |
Sets the marked Folder to "active", i.e. from the moment of the activation you will be working in this particular Folder. |

Show folder |
Opens a window that shows you all elements of the Folder and the corresponding where-used lists. Furthermore, you have the option to print out the list of all elements. |

Edit folder |
Use this function to change the Folder name and the comment. Click OK to apply the changes. |
|
Freeze folder |
In the Workflow management of the EDBSETUP program you can specify for Folder Workflows at Roles > Test status that Folders are only be released after the release of the objects contained in it. This can be defined individually for each object type. The Freeze folder function checks whether the folder still contains objects that still need to obtain the status Released before the folder can be released. If such objects exist they will be displayed. If no such objects exist, an appropriate message will be displayed. On the Ribbon of the Folder detail window the function can be found at Workflow > ... . |

Preselect folder |
Copies the Folder to the clipboard, enabling a linking of another object to it in the next step. |

Add to favourites |
Use this function to add the marked object(s) to the Favourites window. |

Edit Workflow status |
Displays the current status of the Folder. If you have the required access permissions, you can execute the next test step for the Folder. |
Assign roles |
Use this function to assign roles to Role Workflow objects, or to change existing role assignments. A multiple selection of Folders with the same workflow type is also possible. |

Start sub-workflow |
If a sub-workflow has been defined for the Folder, use this function to initialize it. On the Ribbon of the Folder detail window the function can be found at Workflow > ... . |

Edit attribute values |
Use this function to change an attribute (e.g. User) in several Folders at the same time. Choose an attribute in the selection window (e.g. HEL_USER), enter the new attribute value (user name) to be applied to all selected Folders, and confirm with OK. You can accept or reject the change for each selected Folder. You can then change further attributes, or end the function with Close. The changes of the Folder attributes will be shown in the result list. |
