Functions for the Active Document: Output

Documents with an older index, which are no longer in the document list, can be edited with the Show Version Management function.

The Create index function creates a modified document with a proof of change. The master data and the graphic with the current index are made invalid and will be archived. The new version of the document receives a new index and is activated, thus enabling you to track the modifications, respectively drawing statuses (indices) for the complete life cycle of a drawing.

When you call the function, the pin in the bottom left corner of the input mask indicates that other functions are locked during data input. Click Initialize to delete all entries.

The Document number and the number of the Sheet will be taken over.

For the first change the index will be set to 1.

After completing your changes in the database mask, save the master data with OK. The Version Management window will be displayed. Proceed as follows:

1. Enter your Name and a short comment concerning the reason for the change. The date will be entered automatically.
2. Click OK to transfer the new index to the database.

Use this function to send a document from the HELiOS Desktop as an E-mail attachment. A new e-mail with the appropriate attachment will be opened by your standard e-mail program to be sent to the intended recipient.

Use this function to print the graphic of the active document via the HELiOS Print Client.

In the sub-menu, additional options for handling of the print process context are available, e.g. to enter the active Project (or a different Project) into the drawing frame.

Converts HiCAD drawings into other formats such as DXF. Select the corresponding interface, the target directory and the project (or "project-independent") in the dialogue.

The HELiOS Spooler needs to be activated for the conversion.

The default target directory is defined in the system file hel_fileconvert.ini.

If so-called HDE reports have been defined, use this function to call them for the desired HELiOS object. If only one report exists in the system, it will be called instantly; if there are several reports, a selection dialogue will be displayed.

If no reports exist for the corresponding object type, an appropriate message will be displayed.

Copies the URL of the HELiOS document to the clipboard, to enable its pasting to another location.
