Files (e.g. CAD files, Office documents etc.) which are linked to master data are called Documents. Documents are loaded via the HELiOS Desktop into the programs and can be processed there. Master data can be processed and edited with the HELiOS Desktop.
Documents can generally be linked to other documents. or be assigned to several Projects and/or Folders. The graphic file, however, exists only once.
If you do not select a project when creating a document, the document will be assigned to the Project -independent folder.
When deleting a document from a project specifically created by the user, only the project connection will be deleted from the database. The document can then be found in the Project Independent folder.
