Grid Annotation (3-D SE)

Steel Engineering > Further functions > Settings > Grid annotation

In addition to the settings options of the Grid function, HiCAD offers the possibility to individually annotate the axes of a 3-D grid (the so-called "system axes"). This can be done automatically for all axes or for individual axes only.

The following functions for grid annotations are available:

	Create grid annotation
	Align grid annotation
	Create grid annotation, Individual
	Change parameters, Individual
	Change parameters, View
	Change parameters, In all visible views
	Change parameters, Drawing
	Same parameters as reference, Individual
	Same parameters as reference, View
	Same parameters as reference, In all visible view
	Same parameters as reference, Drawing
	Delete grid annotation, Individual
	Delete grid annotation, View
	Delete grid annotation, In all views
	Delete grid annotation, Drawing

Right-clicking an annotation opens a context menu with further processing functions for grid annotations.

Please note:

If you refer in a system axis annotation to the axis annotation of the 3-D grid, the system axis annotation will be adjusted if you change the axis annotation subsequently with the Grid parameters function.
Axis annotations are assigned to the grid.
