Sheet Metal > Sheet development > Extras > Automatic DXF export
Use this function to export all sheet metal blanks in a drawing as DXF files, provided that they are:
A table with the names and dimensions of the DXF files to be exported will be displayed. You can use the Save function to save this file as NAME.TXT to a directory of your choice. The names of the DXF files are derived from the item numbers.
The files will then be located in the previously selected directory.
If there are non-itemized sheet metal parts in the drawing, HiCAD will issue an appropriate message and asks you whether you want to continue.
If you select YES, the function will be continued. If you select NO, the function will be cancelled.
Please note:
If a countersunk bore is located at the sheet edge, and HiCAD is generating a development for the front side and the rear side, it will always select the smaller side for the export.
In the file SheettoDXF.ftd you will find the default setting for the composition of the DXF file name.
