Saving the Drawing (BIM-PLM)

Before creating the workshop/detail drawings, first itemize, and then save the drawing. To do this, use the corresponding functions on the PDM tab.

Proceed as follows:

1. Select the Drawing > Auto > ... with options function to itemise the drawing.

Make the required settings and click OK to close the window.

2. Select PDM > Save drawing .

You can now directly display the current links and the product structure in HiCAD or in the HELiOS Desktop.

To display the links, select PDM > HELiOS PDM functions for active drawing > Document master for active drawing .

In this way you can check which parts have been itemised, and whether a drawing already exists for the parts.

The product structure, too, can be Displayed product structure. To do this, select PDM > HELiOS PDM functions for active drawing > Part master for active drawing .

This information can also be obtained via the Combined search via documents and parts function of the HELIOS Desktop.
