Create New Drawing / Open Drawing (BIM-PLM)

PDM > Drawing

To create a new drawing, or open an existing drawing, select PDM > Drawing > New or PDM > Drawing > Open, respectively.

For our example we will create a new drawing:

1. Select New drawing with DB, with new part master .
2. The dialogue window for part data entry (PART ENTER) will be displayed. The article number will be suggested automatically:

Enter the required part master data and exit the window with OK.

3. The dialogue window for document master entry DOCUMENT ENTER) will be displayed. The document number will be suggested automatically:

Enter the document master data and exit the window with OK.

4. The Part attributes mask will be displayed. Here you define the attribute for the main assembly of the drawing.

Enter the required attributes and exit the window with OK.

The drawing now only consists of one dummy main assembly.
