Other Objects
The geometry of the assemblies, main parts and sub-parts is usually
enhanced to include further objects, for detail design of the drawing or
as a construction aid.
Examples include:
- Processing planes (3-D)
The drawing plane is normally the screen plane. By defining processing
planes, however, you can choose any other surface as the drawing plane
in a 3-D drawing.
- Views (3-D)
A view refers to a projection, i.e. a two-dimensional representation of 3-D objects. A distinction is made, for example, between standard views (top view, side view, front view), isometries and axonometries.
- Pixel graphics
In addition to the previously described drawing objects, HiCAD
also allows you to insert pixel graphics, e.g. company logos, into your
drawing.
- Drawing frames and title blocks
HiCAD provides drawing frames in various DIN formats including title block, which you can load into your drawing.
- Grids and auxiliary lines
2-D and 3-D grids as well as 2-D auxiliary lines can be used as construction aids.
- Paste clipboard contents
You can paste texts, graphics and excel tables via the Windows clipboard into HiCAD drawings.
