Save Drawing with Current Name

Drawing > Print/Save > Save

You choose this function if you want the current drawing to be saved under the current name in the existing directory. There are two possible scenarios:

• The file has already been saved
• The file is being saved for the first time.

The file has already been saved

To save the file again,

activate the Drawing tab and select Save/Print > Save ,

or

use the key combination CTRL+S.

The file will be saved under its current name and existing path.

The file is being saved for the first time

When you first save drawings which were not entered into the database at the time of creation, you can decide whether you want the file to be saved with or without DB or in a different file format.

Save without database

1. In the Save/Print function group of the Drawing tab, select Save .
2. This tarts the Explorer.
3. Apply the current path and file name or change them.
4. Click Save.

Save to database

1. In the Save/Print function group of the Drawing tab, select Save as . Then select

With HELiOS, Without part master,

if you want the file to be saved without part master.

With HELiOS, with new part master,

if you want the file to be saved with new part master.

With HELiOS, assign part master,

if you want an existing part master to be assigned to the file when saving it.

2. Enter the document master and, depending on the function, the part master data.
