Bills of Materials: Change Part Attribute ZUBEHOERSATZ (PE)

The attribute ZUBEHOERSATZ (=ACCESSORY SET) in the part record indicates whether an accessory set exists in the database and if so how it should be handled. A part does not necessarily need an accessory set, e.g. if two identical flanges are connected, only one flange requires an accessory set.

The following settings are available for the ZUBEHOERSATZ attribute of a part:

0 = never
Irrespective of the situation, accessories are never assigned.
1 = yes, automatically
When you insert or move a part,HiCAD checks the situation. If the accessory is fitted to an identical part to which accessories have been assigned, they are not assigned to the second part.
2 = yes, always
Irrespective of the situation, accessories are always assigned.

To edit the ZUBEHOERSATZ attribute proceed as follows:

Start the HELiOS part search.
Right-click the required part in the result list.
Select the Edit attribute value function.
Select the ZUBEHOERSATZ attribute and click the Process button.
Specify the required setting.
Close the window.

Proceed as follows to start HELiOS part search:

In HiCAD
Select, for example on the Drawing tab, the Insert Part, via part master function. Specify filter criteria for a quicker retrieval retrieval of the part: For example, enter *2633 in the Standard field if you are looking for a flange according to the industrial standard DIN 2633. If you then right-click in the part master mask and select Classification you can narrow the result list even further, by entering in the Flange, round tab the nominal diameter and clicking Combi-Search.
In the HELiOS Desktop
In the Find data function group, select Parts . Enter the filter criteria in the same way as for the part search in HiCAD. Click Start search.
