Assigned P+ID (PE)

Plant Engineering > Link to P+ID > Assigned P+ID

If the layout plan belonging to the P+ID is already open, you can call it with this function and thereby activate HiCAD’s P+ID module.

If a layout plan belonging to a P+ID has not been activated, the following automatic actions are taken:

HiCAD switches to the window with the highest number,
the P+ID module is activated,
HiCAD loads the appropriate P+ID project – if an-other P+ID project¸ P+ID symbol library or a P+ID symbol are open, HiCAD first asks if these objects should be saved,
The previously active P+ID sheet is loaded.

You can return to 3-D Plant Engineering by selecting the Assigned 3-D layout plan option on the P+ID tab or via the Switch drawing tab in the ICN.
