Part Properties (2-D)

2-D Part > Properties

Use the functions contained in the Properties function group of the 2-D Part tab to process the attributes of 2-D parts.

The functions always refer to the active 2-D part.

Functions		Description
	Part attributes
Pull-down menu Attr.
	Rename	Enables you to change the part name by entering a new name.
	Scale-dependent
	Scale-independent
	Auxiliary part	You use this function to convert parts to construction aids and construction aids to parts. The construction aids are not displayed in the browser.

	Material for part	This function assigns a material to the active part.

	Part scale	If you enter the new scale and a fixed point, the size of the representation changes. The fixed point marks the position of the part after the change of scale. If you change the main scale of the drawing from 1:1 to 1:2, the part scale is changed proportionally. A part scale of 1:5 then changes to 1:10.
