Assign Document/Part to Project

HELiOS PDM > HELiOS PDM functions for active part > Project

Use this function to link the active document/part to another project. When you call the function, the search mask of the Project Management will be displayed.

Narrow the search results by further specifications, or use the wild card *.

Assign the document to a project in the result list by a double-click. The master data (part master and document master) of the active drawing will be copied to the selected project. The previous project link remains.

Open the context menu of a project with a right-click. Here you will find further editing functions.

Alternatively, you can access the function as follows:

Right-click the part or the name of the part in the ICN and select HELiOS. In the HELiOS 3-D Part sub-menu, go to the Document master or Part master section and select Assign project.
