Configuration of Assignments

In principle, each table row (i.e. each data record) in the Catalogue Editor corresponds to a part in HELiOS. The assignment of information in the Catalogue Editor to the corresponding attribute fields in HELiOS can be seen below:

Schematic assignments, e.g. for I-beams, IPE

Generally one distinguishes between the following types of assignments:

Attribute associativity: Catalogue -> HELiOS Part Master Management

Example setting
  1. Right-click the heading of the required column.
  2. Select Column properties.
  3. Specify the required assignment.
Example setting

Please note that no transfer (no Catalogue->HELIOS Part Master Management associativity) takes place when updating the catalogue. It is therefore possible that the data in the catalogue and in HELiOS Part Master Management do no longer correlate after an update has been made!

Attribute associativity: HELiOS Part Master Management -> Catalogue

Please note that it is not possible to transfer attribute contents from HELiOS Part Master Management to the catalogue.

If, for instance, you want the Article number to be displayed in the catalogue as well, this needs to be specified via the transfer direction Catalogue -> HELiOS Part Master Management. Proceed as follows:

  1. In the CATEDITOR, enter the HELiOS Part Master Management Article number as an assigned attribute in an additional catalogue column, i.e. Custom1 or Custom2 .
  2. Then transfer this catalogue, the table or the records to HELiOS with the attribute associativity HELiOS-T_Sachnummer (=article number)- Custom1.
