FlexiCAD XML

Drawing> New/Open > Öffnen > 3-D Import

FlexiCAD XML files are imported via Drawing > Insert part > Expl... > 3-D import .

Select the file type FlexiCAD files (*.xml) in the pull-down menu at the bottom right of the import dialogue.

 

During the import process, all existing spatial element types are then imported and assigned to the various levels in the component structure. The HiCAD part structure is based on the structure in the XML file.

The geometries of individual objects, e.g. walls, are partially outsourced to sub-parts.

The names of the parts are read from the "FriendlyName?" object in the XML file. If this is not available, the name is generated from the "ToolTip?".
