This value describes the width of the profiles. It is used to determine the distance of two beams to each other. By default, it will be taken from the catalogue, but you can also adjust it manually, e.g. to create a greater overlap between two profiles.

Important:

If you change the selected profile of a plane, this value will be overwritten with the matching value for the new profiles from the catalogue.

If this option has been activated, the profile will be inserted in negative position, i.e. with front and rear side switched. The negative layer does not affect the coating, i.e. the outer sheet always receives the outside colour.

The negative or positive position is assigned to each installation element as attribute DWF_NEG_INSTALL (Positive position 0 and Negative position 1) and can thus be output in annotation blocks, for example.

Enter a maximum length for profiles on this layer. This will be appropriately taken into account during installation, by joining several profiles for longer installations.

Profiles that are diagonally cut across their entire width can be lengthened by a fixed value to provide an extra length ("cutting buffer") for cuts. You can enter the respective value in this input field. If you enter 0, no lengthening will be applied.

The cut lengthening is assigned to each installation element as the attribute DWF_CUTTING_BUFFER and can thus be output in annotation blocks, for example.

Here you can specify which usage is to be applied to the assembly of this layer. The default value here is Roof/Wall.

Determines a minimum width for created profiles. Profiles that are narrower than this value will not be created. This can be useful to avoid very narrow profiles at the lateral borders of profile installations.

If this checkbox is activated, profiles will be cut by means of inserted window. If the checkbox is deactivated, windows will be ignored in the installation.

This setting is only available if the Cut by openinigs has been activated.

If the Divide profiles by openings checkbox has been activated, a profile will end beneath a window and a new profile begins above the window.

If the checkbox has been deactivated, the profile will obtain a "window shaped" opening and will be continued above the window as if the window does not exist.

This can be useful in situations where profiles are first installed covering the windows, and cut-outs for the windows are made later.
