Processing Sheet Developments in Production Drawings

In the default configuration of the Drawing Management, the processing of developments (e.g. filleting of edges) in production drawings is not possible. In the Configuration Editor at PDM > Drawing Management > Production drawings, the parameter Allow processing of sheet developments is available to change this if desired.

The ISD default setting is No. If you choose Yes it is possible to process and save developments in already created drawings without marking the sheet as changed.

Important:

If you allow the processing of developments in production drawings, no more automatic DXF data can be created for sheets, as the CAM data is generated directly from the sheet. This means: If the configuration parameter Create DXF data is set to Yes at > Drawing Management > External production documents > External part data, it will not be evaluated. In this case, a message appears when HiCAD is started.
