Properties of Views

Views > Properties

The Properties menu contains functions which enable you, amongst other things, to change the name or scale of views, to select or define the representation of edges.

Change view scale

Changes the scale of the view.

Rename view

Changes the view name.

Show/Hide elements in view

Makes it possible to show/hide certain edges like mesh and polyhedral edges, or processing planes.

Clicking opens a menu with further functions:

	Show/Hide edges	Makes it possible to show/hide selected edges in the active view or in all selected views.
	Hidden edges	Defines colour and line type of hidden edges.
	Highlighted edges	Highlights edges in colour in in Glass Model or HiddenLine representation.
	Update sheet edges	For model drawings from 2018 and older you can no longer show collinear sheet edges in the HiddenLine representation. For these legacy drawings, the settings valid at the time of their saving apply. However, you can use this function to update the handling of collinear sheet edges in these legacy drawings to the new mechanism.
