During BOM creation in HiCAD, the file LastRepManFile.RM3 is created in the current drawing directory. If your drawing contains 2D parts, an additional file LastRepManFile.RM2 is created. You open the LastRepManFile.RM3 file with this function in the Report Manager. .

Please note:

The next time a BOM is created, the LastRepManFile.RM2 and LastRepManFile.RM3 files are overwritten again.

This function loads a settings file (.RM_SETTINGS).

In the Head data settings, the transferred attributes can be configured. These include the definition of decimal places, the displayed unit and the export method.

Here you can set whether the number of an item is to be calculated according to HiCAD2 logic or according to "DIN standard", i.e. by multiplying the number of superordinate assemblies. The calculation according to DIN standard is preset by default.

Use the attribute name (user, item number) to set whether the item numbers are transmitted by HELiOS or HiCAD. The default setting is HELiOS.

This function converts the RMS configuration files of the old Report Manager (before HiCAD 2023) into the RM_SETTINGS files of the new ISD Report Manager as of 2023.

The ISD Report Manager has a COM interface. This allows it to be controlled from other applications such as MS-Word or MS-Excel. For this purpose, users with programming experience can create corresponding scripts.
