Use this function to define the visible side (outer side) of a sheet or plate. This side can then be taken into account during development or coating. Identify the side by a surface or two edges. You can then determine the visible side for other sheet metal parts or execute the function with the middle mouse button.
The visible side is marked with this symbol 
. The other side is marked with an X-symbol 
.

This function allows you to delete the visible side (top side) of a sheet or plate by selecting a surface or two edges.
