Update Models

Drawing Management > Drawing > Update models

Similar to production drawings, so-called construction sections (i.e. referenced partial models) can be managed in HiCAD. For this purpose the links

• Construction unit
• Model up to date and
• Model not up to date

are available.

These links can be used to check whether drawings contain outdated referenced construction sections and whether these need to be updated. To ensure that the function can be used, the parameter Updating of referenced parts must be set to Yes in the Configuration Editor at PDM > Drawing Management.

After calling the function, the models that contain obsolete referenced parts are listed.

Select the desired models and click OK.
