3-D Dimensioning + Text > Tools > Dimension

The layout of a dimensioning table can be customized down to the smallest detail.

Clicking the icon activates the Set parameters for new general dimension function.

Clicking opens the Dimension parameters menu. The following functions are available:

Manage

Load parameters

Use this function to load your user configuration from the Configuration Editor. If such a configuration does not exist, the predefined ISD configuration (at Drawing > Annotations > Dimensioning, 3-D) or the configuration predefined by your Administrator will be loaded.

These settings will then be the new default settings for the functions of the Dimension Parameters menu.

Save parameters

Use this function to save the current parameter settings of the Dimension Parameters menu.

The data will be saved to the configuration database (ISD ConfigEditor.exe).

Parameters

Change parameters

Changes the parameters of existing dimensions.

Same as reference dimension

Assigns the parameters of a selected dimension, the so-called "reference dimension", to an existing dimension.

Please note:
The current settings of the Set parameters for new dimensions function are saved together with the drawing, i.e. in the corresponding SZA file, when a drawing is saved. When the drawing is loaded again, these parameters will then automatically be active.
