Further Help Resources

In addition to the Online Help, the following Help resources are available:

• Quick Info
  Short description of the symbols. This is displayed if you point the cursor to a menu entry or a button.

• Direct Help
  Help for a specific function of the Ribbon or one of the menus that can be opened there as well as help on a function of the Civil Engineering functions docking window.
  Access: Move cursor on function and press F1. 

• What's New?
  Describes the new functions of the current HiCAD version.
  Access: What's New? topic in this Online Help or as PDF file in the download area of the ISD Wiki (see current Major Release or Service Pack).

• Watch videos on selected new features
  Videos on selected new features and/or functional enhancements can be directly accessed in HiCAD. To watch the videos, click the Help Topics and Information symbol at the top right of the HiCAD toolbar and choose Show News....

• Installation Notes
  Contains notes on installation and licensing, system requirements, first steps etc.
  Access: PDF file on your HiCAD DVD or at https://help.isdgroup.com/.

• Update Info
  Contains information about new and changed functions for each service pack.
  Access: Printed information

• Quick Tour
  Explains the HiCAD basics through tutorial videos.
  Access: Ribbon, > Quick Tour

  Software maintenance contract, updates, forums, newsletter etc.
