Owner and Proxy

Change owner

EDBSETUP.EXE > User > User

Select this function to change the ownership of an object. The rights will be transferred to the new owner.

• Select User from the menu bar, then select User again and Change owner. 
• Activate another user and save with OK. 

The object has now been transferred to another user.

Manage proxies

EDBSETUP.EXE > User > User

Use this function to activate or deactivate a proxy if required.

• Select User from the menu bar, then select User again to choose the Manage proxies function.
• Select a user, then select Activate proxy.

When creating a user, you can specify a default proxy, who will be active afterwards.

• If you want to select another proxy, deactivate the default proxy.
• Choose another proxy from the Current Proxy list and save with Activate proxy.
