Link to P+ID when Copying P+ID and 3-D

If you create a copy of a P+ID project which is linked to a layout plan with another name, the link will be removed automatically.

A copy will be created with:

• TheSave as ... function,
• Creation of a derived drawing via Document Management of the Database,
• Creation of a modified drawing via Document Management of the Database,
• Copying functions of the Windows Explorer or similar programs.

If you would like to create linked copies of a layout plan and a P+ID project which are linked, proceed as follows (the example here is a derived drawing):

1. Create the derived drawing of the P+ID project and open it.
2. Create the derived drawing of the layout plan and open it.
3. Change to the layout plan window.
4. Execute the Link to P+ID function.
5. Save the layout plan and the P+ID project.
