Drawing Management Settings in the Configuration Editor
After successful installation and/or parameter configuration, HiCAD will be pre-configured for the operation of the Drawing Management module.
The ISD Configuration Editor offers many other parameters with which you can further influence the derivation and management of drawings, and adjust them to your company-specific requirements.
For instance, you can specify here:
- when the Drawing up to date link is to be set for drawing derivations
see General Settings in the Configuration Editor
- which settings are to be used for production drawings and mounting drawings
see Settings for Production Drawings - which external production drawings are to be created when, and which postprocessor is to be used for PDF generation
see Settings for External Production Data - whether you want HiCAD to distiguish between parts that are welded in workshops and parts that are to be sent to a construction site for assembly after machining
see Settings for Individual Part Type - whether revision clouds are to be used for the marking of modifications
see Settings for Revision Clouds - which settings and dimensioning rules are to be used for automatic drawing derivation
see Settings / Configurations for Drawing Derivation - Which attributes are to be updated in case of changes
see Attributes to be Updated
