Change Patterning Parameters

2-D Part > Hatching > Define > Define > Pattern contour - Change patterning parameters

After choosing the symbol, you can change the desired parameters individually.

  1. Click an icon.
  2. Change the desired parameters.
  3. Select Continue and identify the hatching.

 

Function

Description

Layer

You use this function to set the patterning layer. Default: Layer 1.

Symbol angle

If you enter an angle, the symbol of a patterning will be rotated.

Enlargement factor

If you enter a factor, the symbol will be enlarged or downsized.

Border offset

Here, you set the distance of the pattern to the edge of the part.

Symbol spacing

This function enables you to set the x- and y-spacing between the symbols of a patterning.

Colour

Use this function to specify the colour of the hatching lines. The hatching colour will be saved to the data storage unit.
