Adjust Templates - Plant Engineering and P+ID

For the creation of BOMs in Plant Engineering and P+ID, templates designed for an Excel-based BOM creation are available. This allows an easy adjustment of the created BOMs to company-specific requirements even without any programming knowledge.

Plant Engineering

For Plant Engineering, the following Report Manager templates for Excel-based BOM creation are available:

BOM for complete drawings: anlagenbau_ohne_db_szn.rms
BOM only for a selected pipeline: anlagenbau_ohne_db_rl.rms
Pipe length list: anlagenbau_mit_db_geslen.rms

You can modify these templates as decribed in the topics Adjust Templates - Settings and Adjust Templates - Appearance and Content. You can find a concrete example at Examples of BOMs: Adjustment of a BOM Template, the principle of which can also be applied here although it refers to Steel Engineering and not to Plant Engineering.

P+ID

For P+ID, the following templates are available:

Here, too, you can modify the templates as described in the above topics. While you cannot add your own lists for P+ID, you can change existing lists and use them afterwards. Should you require the original lists again for some reason, you can also find the templates in the directory of your HiCAD installation at sys\BOMTemplates.
