Insertion Options - Insert in Space (3-D SE)

Steel Engineering >New > Insert standard beam

If you select the 3-D icon in the insertion options menu bar, the beam is inserted in 3-D space. In the same way as with insertion to a plane, the beam will be inserted either

by specifying the start and end points or
by specifying the start point, a point for the direction and the beam length
