Annotations for Grid Sub-Systems (3-D SE)

Please note:
In the current HiCAD version, only automatic annotations are possible for derived drawings with grid sub-systems.

Create grid sub-system

Annotations of the grid sub-system are only created if:

System axis annotations are created (Derived drawing or Configuration Editor dialogue)
A line of the grid runs parallel to the beam/profile axis
The line of the grid is located in the vicinity of the beam/profile. (can be set in the Derived drawing or Configuration Editor dialogue)
The sub-system is connected to the found grid line, i.e. if the grid sub-system line intersects or converges with the grid line.

Representation of the sub-system annotation

If the sub-system line is located in the screen plane of the view, the sub-system annotation represents a detail of this line. The connecting point of the sub-system on the grid is indicated by a symbol (can be set in the configuration database).

If the sub-system line is not located in the screen plane of the view, the sub-system annotation will be represented as a vertical line. The connecting point of the sub-system on the grid is indicated by a symbol (can be set in the configuration database).

Edit grid subsystem annotations

The editing and moving of the annotations in a drawing takes place via the functions of the context menu that you activate with a right-click on an annotation.

A moving of annotations can also be performed via Drag & Drop at the line start or end.
