Create Grid Annotation, Individual (3-D SE)

Use this function to individually annotate the axes of a Steel Engineering grid - in addition to the setting options offered by the 3-D Grid function.

1. After calling the function, identify an axis of a Steel Engineering grid.
2. Determine the position of the annotation by specifying the base point. For this purpose, the symbol will be displayed. Please note that the base point is always located on the selected axis or its extension.
3. HiCAD displays the System axis annotation dialogue window. In this window you specify the settings for the grid annotations, i.e. the text, the representation of the symbol frame, colour and line type of the annotation lines, font, size and colour of the text, etc. The window is operated in the same way as the dialogue window for the Create grid annotation function.

Specify the required settings and exit the window with OK. HiCAD then creates the desired annotation. You can now select further axes to be annotated, or end the function by clicking the middle mouse button.

Example

If you refer in a system axis annotation to the axis annotation of the 3-D grid, the system axis annotation will be adjusted if you change the axis annotation subsequently with the Grid parameters function.
