Union Beams (3-D SE)

You can use this function to union divided beams into one beam. You can do this if

• the beams are of the same type,
• the beams have the same alignment in the current coordinate system and
• the orientation (fitting direction) of the beams coincides.

The unioned beam is assigned the designation of the beam identified first. The length of the new beam results from the sum of the lengths of the source beams plus a clearance or minus an overlap.
